TAC Club Rules

Club Uniform

The club uniform is black or blue pants and the royal blue/navy club shirt. You should wear the club uniform, or all white shirts and pants, at state or national competitions. Uniform is not required at normal club Sunday practise shoots but can be worn if desired.

Badge Claims

When you shoot an 'All Gold' end (6 arrows in 9s or 10/Xs) at a competition or a scheduled club round, on properly filled out score sheets that have three members signatures, you can claim a badge. The same goes for '60 perfect' when you get 6 arrows in the 10 in a single end. You can claim one badge for each distance and face size combination, ie 20m 122cm face or 50m 80cm face.

If the round is a scheduled club round on the club range in a FITA round or a Canberra round then the club will pay for the badge. The club will pay for badges under the following circumstances

  1. U18 and adult archers shooting a Canberra round must complete a full FITA-900 Canberra round.
  2. Cadet (U16 and Veterans) a Short Canberra round.
  3. Juniors (U14) a Junoir Canberra round.
  4. All FITA rounds must be at your age level or above to claim a badge.

For all other rounds the archer buys the badge. The badges cost $5.

Archery Classification Badges

When you have shot 3 qualifying outdoor target rounds over the required scores for your equipment and age category, you can qualify as 3rd Class, 2nd Class and 1st Class Bowman etc and are entitled to an Archery Australia badge. You can qualify once at each level for each of Outdoor, Indoor, Field and Clout archery. For indoor, field and clout qualification the cost for badges is $5, TAC will pay for Outdoor Target qualification badges. There is also Master and Grand Master bowman qualification. See your coach or the club recorder for details.

To find out the qualification requirements, you can go to the Archery Australia website and download the rule book, chapter 4 in particular, or see your coach or the club recorder, or ask a senior club archer for more information.
